Pure Feed Electrolytes. Horses lose electrolytes through normal bodily functions like sweating so it is advisable to supplement your horse’s diet with electrolytes (including sodium chloride potassium calcium and magnesium) especially if they are in work. The protective fat coating prevents the salty taste reducing the need for additional sugar. It also makes it kinder to the stomach and helps ensure they reach the small intestine for absorption.
