The Proxima Plus aquariums are rimless, braceless, and open topped, manufactured with the best quality float glass. This is finished off with a brushed aluminium bottom frame.

The dimensions include a width and depth of 50 cm which offers lots of space making them perfect for "aquascaping" and "biotope” aquariums. There are three sizes available with 175, 250 and 325 litre capacity.

This comes with a spacious, sturdy cabinet in a high gloss finish (white or mocha), with a subtle recessed frame in brushed aluminium. There are two doors, (without handles) which include "push to open" technology. Inside the cabinet is ample space for an external canister filter, CO² fertilisation set and storage of maintenance equipment.

Lighting is supplied by the Eheim powerLED+ (daylight & plants) system with suspension wires for ceiling assembly or mounting brackets for fitting lights directly on to the aquarium.

LED controllers are available (not included) for these units, both wired (Eheim LEDcontrol 4200120) and wireless (Eheim LEDcontrol+ 4200140) types. Using one of these will allow you to do many things including simulating sunrise and sunset along with cloud and moonlight effects.

Filtration and heating are not included. We recommend an Eheim Professionel 4+ 350 external filter with an Eheim Thermocontrol 200w heater. Alternatively, for more convenience you could use an Eheim Professionel 4+ 350T which have a built-in heaters. Suitable for freshwater use only.
